Making a New Connection
To make a new connection to the District's wastewater or water system you will first need to supply our office with a copy of your site plan. Please be sure that the plan identifies the parcel and or address. There are connection fees that may apply depending on the Region in which the connection will be made. They are listed below. In addition to the connection fee, there is also a $70 inspection permit fee. If you need to purchase a grinder pump we can provide you with information regarding the specs, however you will need to purchase the grinder from a vendor and not from the District.
You can click the links to documents at the bottom of this page for Technical Guidelines for Making a Connection from a sewer main to a grinder station, and from a structure (residence, business, etc.) to a grinder station.
In order to maintain the equipment the District will require an easement and dedication of equipment form to be completed. Please contact our office for further details.
PLEASE NOTE: When a new connection is made, contact our office and allow 24 hours for an inspection to be made. Do not cover the connection before the inspection has been completed. If you cover the connection before an inspection you may be required to uncover it in order for a proper inspection to be completed.
